Let's go

Après avoir pris le train, quelques métros et RER, l'avion (le bel A380!), encore quelques métros et enfin un Tuk-Tuk, nous sommes finalement bien arrivés à Bangkok! Nous avons passé quelques jours à Khaosan Road, une des rues les plus touristiques de la capitale où nous avions déjà séjourné quelques jours il y a deux ans. Vu la chaleur, les 12 heures d'avion et le décallage horaire nous nous sommes reposé le premier jour.

Ensuite, nous avons profité de notre passage ici pour visiter le Santichaiprakan Park, un joli parc au bord du Mae Nam Chao Praya, la rivière qui passe dans Bangkok. Pour s'éloigner un peu de l'effervescence et de l'agitation de Khaosan nous avons arpenté la ville jusqu'au Dusit Palace Zoo, le premier zoo construit en Thaïlande! C'était très agréable! C'est un grand parc, très vert, avec des orchidés et des scheffleras qui poussent un peu partout mais aussi un tigre blanc, des gorilles, des crocodiles et une vache! Et oui, ça semble être exotique ici comme animal, même si de notre côté, on se serait cru au fin fond de l'allier!!

Demain, nous partons pour Prachuap Khiri Khan, une petite ville de bord de mer à l'Est du golf de la Thaïlande, nous pensons y rester quelques jours le temps de décider de notre nouvelle destination.

Nous voyagerons en train, il nous faut 5 heures pour y arriver.

Tout se passe pour le mieux, Barbichette et moi sommes vraiment très heureux de nous retrouver à nouveau au milieu de cette immense ville. Nous commençons à nous habituer à l'humidité et à la chaleur, même si je suis bien pressée d'étrenner mon nouveau maillot de bain sur les jolies plages ThaÏ!

We spent few days in Khaosan Road, one of the most touristic street of ​​the capital where we had stayed a few days two years ago. Given the heat, the 12-hour flight and the jetlag we rested the first day. Then we used our time here to visit the Santichaiprakan Park, a beautiful park bordering the Mae Nam Chao Praya river flowing through Bangkok. To put out a little from the buzz and bustle of Khaosan we surveyed the city to Dusit Palace Zoo, the first zoo built in Thailand! It was lovely! It's a large park, very green, with orchids and scheffleras that grow everywhere but also a white tiger, gorillas, crocodiles and a cow! (Yes, here it seems to be as exotic animal, even if our side, it felt deep the french countryside!) Tomorrow we leave for Prachuap Khiri Khan, a small seaside town in Eastern Thailand Golf, we believe there remain a few days time to decide our new destination. We will travel by train, we need 5 hours to get there. Everything happens for the best, Barbichette and I are very happy to be back again in the middle of this huge city. We are starting to get used to the humidity and heat, although I am very impatient to try out my new bathing suit on the pretty Thai beaches!
